Hostinger Coupon Code 2026: Tested Checkout & Renewal Guide
Most coupon pages give you a code and leave the rest to you. This guide gives you a code, then answers the questions that come up at checkout: which route to use, why the total moves the way it does, and what you'll pay once the first term ends.
Hostinger coupon: HARSHILBAROT
How to use it: enter it in the Hostinger cart's coupon field where eligible, then press Apply.
Tested: 15 Oct 2026 (US$ and ₹ stores). Result: first-term price down 20% on new 12-, 24- and 48-month plans; refused on a 1-month term.
Important: check the actual discount, the final payable amount and the renewal price before you buy.

Hostinger coupon code: the quick answer
This guide uses the Hostinger coupon code HARSHILBAROT. Paste it into your cart's coupon box where eligible; the order summary will show whether it saved you anything before you pay.
Eligibility depends on the plan, the billing term, your region, your account and any promotion already running, so the cart decides what you actually get. Every new 12-, 24- and 48-month plan I put in a cart on 15 October 2026 dropped by exactly 20% on its first term.
Code or link? Pick the route that fits
There are two ways to get this discount, and the right one depends on where you are in the buying process.
| Your situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| You want to see the saving happen | Open Hostinger directly and type the code in the cart, so you can compare the total before and after. |
| You'd rather not type anything | Use the referral link. In my test it added the discount before I reached the cart. |
| Your cart already shows a referral discount | Leave it. The coupon field disappears, and a second code wouldn't add anything. |
| You chose a 1-month term | Switch to 12 months or longer first. The code was refused on 1 month. |
| You're renewing a plan you already have | Neither route helps; the discount is for new purchases. |
How to apply the Hostinger coupon at checkout
- Open Hostinger.
- Choose the plan that matches what you're building.
- Set the billing period to a year or more.
- Continue to the cart.
- Click the Have a coupon code? link under the order summary; the box appears.
- Enter
HARSHILBAROT. - Press Apply.
- Compare the new amount with the one you saw before applying.
- Read the renewal price printed under the plan name.
- Pay only if the final cost makes sense for your site.
When it works, you'll see "Coupon savings applied" listed and the total will fall.

A real Hostinger cart from 15 October 2026 (US-dollar store, Premium, 48 months) with the code typed, before Apply.

The same cart after Apply: the plan line went from $143.52 to $114.82. The tax line reflects the tester's location.
Coupon code vs referral link: what's actually different
The coupon code is HARSHILBAROT, typed by you into the cart. You see the price before and after, which makes it easy to judge the saving.
The referral link is this Hostinger link. Following it took me to a Hostinger page announcing 20% off my first term, and the order summary later read "20% referral discount applied". The coupon field wasn't shown, because the order already carried a discount.
Both reached the same total in my test. They are separate mechanisms that Hostinger controls, though, so don't assume they'll always behave identically. Whichever you use, the order summary is the final word, and you only get one discount per order.
Why the final checkout price matters more than the discount
A hosting price passes through several stages before you pay it:
Advertised price → Billing term → Coupon/promotion → Add-ons → Tax → Final price → Renewal
Here is what each stage did to one real cart (Premium, 48 months, US-dollar store, 15 October 2026):
- Advertised price: $2.99 a month, shown next to a crossed-out $11.99.
- Billing term: 48 months, so the plan line was $143.52, charged in one payment.
- Coupon: minus $28.70, leaving $114.82 ($2.39 a month).
- Add-ons: $0 in this cart, but untick anything you didn't choose.
- Tax: added by location, so I quote prices before tax.
- Final price: $114.82 plus your local tax.
- Renewal: $10.99 a month for 12 months once the 48 months end.
That last line is the one most buyers skim past, and it's the one that decides what the plan costs you over time.

Introductory price vs renewal price
The coupon reduces the introductory price: the first billing term. It doesn't change the renewal price, which Hostinger charges at its regular rate when that term ends. In the cart above, the plan cost $2.39 a month with the code and renews at $10.99, about 4.6 times as much.
That isn't unusual for hosting, but it should be part of your decision. I've broken down how to compare first-term and renewal costs, including billing terms and extras, in Hostinger renewal pricing explained.
Using a Hostinger coupon in India
The code isn't limited to one country: it worked in the US-dollar store and in the India store. If you buy from the India storefront, a few things change:
- Currency: prices are in rupees.
- GST: it isn't in the plan price; the cart adds it at the end.
- Real result: Premium for 48 months: ₹7,152 → ₹5,721.60 before GST (₹8,439.36 → ₹6,751.49 once 18% GST is added).
- Payment and promotions: payment methods and regional offers can differ from other storefronts.
- Confirmation: the final total with GST is the number to check.
Which plans the coupon works on
Web hosting: Premium and Unlimited both accepted the code on 48-month terms. Unlimited went from $191.52 to $153.22.
WordPress hosting: WordPress installs on those web hosting plans, so expect the same result, and confirm it in your cart.
Cloud hosting: Cloud Startup showed a "partner 20% off" label on Hostinger's referral pricing page. I stopped short of checkout, so this one is probable, not proven.
VPS: KVM 1, billed for 24 months in the India store, went from ₹14,376 to ₹11,500.80 (before GST). I haven't tried other VPS tiers.
Existing customers: Hostinger's referral terms limit the discount to the first billing period of something new you buy; renewals and existing services are out. I didn't test it from an existing account, and logged-in offers can differ.
Hostinger coupon not working? Ten things to check
- Is it spelled exactly
HARSHILBAROT? Twelve letters, no spaces. - Is the plan eligible? Try it on the hosting plan rather than a domain or add-on.
- Is the billing term 12 months or longer? Choose a 1-month term and the cart answers: "Coupon is not applicable to the selected product(s)."
- Is a promotion already applied? A referral discount removes the coupon field.
- Does your account change things? Existing-customer carts can follow different rules.
- Which region's store are you in? Offers vary by storefront.
- Can you see the coupon field? It's hidden behind the "Have a coupon code?" link.
- Has the offer changed? My test is dated; your cart is the source of truth.
- Is the saving already included? Look at the plan line, not only the grand total.
- Are you expecting discounts to stack? A sale price plus a coupon is one discount on top of the sale price, not two percentages added together.
My experience with Hostinger
I've been a Hostinger customer for roughly seven years; my current editorial rating is 4.8/5. That's a long-term user's opinion, not a lab benchmark. It's also the reason this guide spends as much time on the checkout total and the renewal line as on the code: those are the numbers you live with.

Checklist before you pay
- The total on the final screen, including tax
- The renewal rate and the length of the renewal term
- Storage, number of websites and performance for your traffic
- Backups, email and SSL, and which are first-year only
- Whether you'd still pick this plan if there were no coupon

Frequently asked questions
What is the Hostinger coupon code for 2026?
The Hostinger coupon code featured in this guide is HARSHILBAROT. Enter it at checkout where eligible and check the final price before completing payment. In my 15 October 2026 carts, first-term prices on new plans of a year or more fell by 20%.
How do I apply a Hostinger coupon?
Add a plan to your cart, click "Have a coupon code?" in the order summary, enter the code and press Apply. A savings line confirms it worked.
Does it work in India?
Yes. The India store accepted it; prices there are in rupees, with GST charged at checkout.
Can existing customers use it?
It's intended for new purchases. Existing accounts weren't part of my test, so sign in, add the plan and see whether a saving appears.
Can I use it for WordPress hosting?
Yes. Install WordPress on an eligible web hosting plan and the same first-term discount applies.
Does it work for VPS?
The one VPS cart I tried, KVM 1 for 24 months, took the 20%. Others are untested.
Can Hostinger coupons be combined?
No. One discount applies per order, whether it comes from a coupon or a referral link.
Why isn't my Hostinger coupon working?
Usually because the term is a single month or a referral discount is already in place. The ten checks above cover the rest.
Does the coupon affect renewal?
No. Renewals are charged at Hostinger's regular rate, which the cart shows under the plan name.
Is a referral link the same as a coupon?
Not exactly. They're two routes to the same discount: the link applies it for you, and the code you type yourself. In my test both gave the same total.
What is the real Hostinger checkout price?
It's the total on the last screen, after the term, discount, extras and tax. For the US-dollar Premium 48-month cart I tested, that was $114.82 before tax.
Is Hostinger worth buying only because of the discount?
No. Buy it because the plan fits your site and the renewal fits your budget. The coupon then makes a good decision cheaper.

The bottom line
A Hostinger coupon is useful only when the final deal makes sense for your needs. Try HARSHILBAROT where eligible, confirm the checkout total, review the renewal price, and pick the plan on long-term value, not on the size of the discount.
